Scooters are authorized in District 2 of Miami, which includes the following neighborhoods:
Coconut Grove
Brickell
Downtown
Midtown
Edgewater
Morningside
The City of Miami has placed scooter drop zones throughout District 2 for your convenience.
Look for the “P” in the app for your nearest parking spot
Park at the “$” in the app and earn credit towards your next ride!

Riders must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license, state identification or passport for age verification on their first ride.
Hours of operation: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 7 days a week. Scooters will be unavailable for use outside those hours.
Riders allowing underage scooter use through their accounts are subject to fines up to $250 per occurrence.
Only one rider per scooter at all times
Riding is allowed on the street and sidewalks - ride in bike lanes whenever possible.
All scooters’ operating speed is now 10 miles per hour (MPH) while all scooters operating on sidewalks will be set to 7 miles per hour (MPH).
Stay safe and alert - don’t listen to headphones while riding.
Always keep both hands on the handlebars.
Always yield to pedestrians
Be mindful, and avoid blocking sidewalks, access ramps, bus stops, and landscaped areas
Park your scooter by the edge of the sidewalk (closest to the street), near bike racks, or in designated scooter drop zones
Use of helmets by scooter riders is required. We have teamed up with Overade to offer our riders a great discount on folding helmets, which fit into a bag or backpack and are easy to carry with you during the day. To report underage riders, double riders, or unsafe behavior, please send a picture of the rider(s) showing serial number on the scooter to miami@spin.pm or scooters@miamigov.com
